The Med-Pak Division of Self Seal Container Corp manufactures a line of specimen
transport mailing containers that pass the new regulations of the U.S. Department
of Transportation effective February 14, 2003.
In order to be in compliance with the new ruling, mailing containers must possess
the following characteristics:
A -- The primary or secondary container of the package must be capable of
withstanding an internal pressure of at least 14 PSI.
B The completed package must be capable of passing a drop test from a height
of at least 1.2 meters (3.9 feet).
C The complete package must be marked with the words BIOLOGICAL SUBSTANCE, CATEGORY B.
We offer 9 different sizes suitable for a wide range of primary containers.
Each mailer consists of :

can with lid and gasket.
- Outer Brown kraft screw cap mailing case.
- BIOLOGICAL SUBSTANCE, CATEGORY B label for outer container.
